I am a Maryland Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C) and the owner of A.M. Day Counseling Services. My background spans outpatient psychotherapy, inpatient psychiatry, psychiatric emergency services, clinical leadership, and medical social work. My experience also includes bariatric assessments, cognitive screening and assessment of memory concerns, and supporting older adults and their families through cognitive changes.
I have worked with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, serious mental illness, chronic health conditions, grief, and major life transitions, with additional experience in advocacy and connecting veterans and military families to care. This range of experience informs my private practice, where I consider how emotional health, cognitive functioning, relationships, and everyday demands intersect, combining practical strategies with thoughtful exploration to support meaningful change.
Take the first step →I welcome honest conversations about what has been hard, what feels complicated, and what you may be ready to change. My approach combines compassion with thoughtful challenge. I’ll help you examine the expectations, relationships, and habits shaping your experience—including the ones you’ve learned to accept without questioning. Our work will focus on understanding yourself more clearly and using that understanding to make intentional choices about how you want to live.
